The ZAYER KAIROS combines large travel ranges, high rigidity, and precision for the flexible machining of large, long, and heavy workpieces.
Rotary and sliding tables enable versatile multi-side and complete machining, reduce the number of setup changes, and provide maximum machining flexibility.

Design
Construction Method
The bed, carriage, stand, console, and boom are made entirely of cast metal—providing significantly better vibration damping and stability compared to welded steel structures.
Precision
Hardened steel strips on all axes and re-adjustable roller shoes minimize vibrations and ensure consistent machine geometry throughout the machine’s service life.
Drive
The dual-motor drive, based on the master-slave principle, ensures virtually backlash-free reversal along the longitudinal axis while maintaining high feed force.
Engine compartment
All drives are located outside the work area and are thus optimally protected from chips and coolant—resulting in a significantly longer service life for the components.
