Hochpräzise CNC-Fräsmaschine von Zayer EMC für industrielle Bearbeitung.

THERA W

Moderne Zayer EMC CNC-Fräsmaschine in industrieller Fertigung.

Gantry Milling Machines with Maximum Reach

The ZAYER THERA W is the logical evolution of the THERA—featuring a movable crossbeam for even greater flexibility and machining freedom. The gantry design with a fixed table, solid cast construction, and a wide range of milling heads makes the THERA W a high-performance solution for machining complex, large parts in both single-piece and series production.

Scope of Work

Table lengths up to 20,500 mm, table widths up to 4,000 mm—for machining even very wide and long workpieces.

Travel distances

A longitudinal stroke of up to 20,000 mm, a transverse stroke of up to 5,750 mm, and a vertical stroke of up to 2,000 mm provide ample space for large components.

Crossbeam

The additional W-axis minimizes overhang lengths, reduces bending forces, and thus enables maximum machining performance while offering greater flexibility.

Spindle Drive

Standard output of 43 kW at 6,000 min⁻¹ – optionally available with high-frequency spindles up to 18,000 min⁻¹ for both rough machining and the finest finish machining.

Axle Drive

Longitudinal axis with dual-pinion rack-and-pinion drive and two motors; transverse and vertical axes with ball screws—for powerful, precise, and repeatable movements.

Design

The machine bed, column, crossbeam, and bridge, all made of high-quality cast iron, ensure maximum structural rigidity and thermal stability—even during intensive use over long machining cycles.

Milling Heads

Angled milling heads, 30° and 45° heads, straight milling heads, high-frequency spindles, and automatic head-changing systems—for complex geometries and hard-to-reach surfaces.

Use

Ideal for mechanical and plant engineering, energy and rail vehicle manufacturing, and heavy industry—for both individual parts and mass production with the highest precision requirements.
