KRONOS
COMPLEX WORKPIECES. FLEXIBLE MACHINING.
The ZAYER KRONOS combines a compact machine design with high stability and precision —ideal for demanding workpieces and complex geometries.
The inclusion of NC rotary tables and swivel chucks enables efficient multi-side machining, reduces the need for re-clamping, and provides maximum flexibility in production.

Design
Construction Method
The bed, carriage, stand, console, and boom are made entirely of cast metal—providing significantly better vibration damping and greater stability than welded steel structures.
Precision
Hardened steel rails in all axes, combined with re-adjustable roller shoes, minimize vibrations and ensure consistent machine geometry throughout the entire service life.
Drive
The dual-motor drive, based on the master-slave principle, ensures virtually backlash-free reversal along the longitudinal axis while providing high feed force and minimal heat generation.
Engine compartment
All drives are located outside the work area—providing optimal protection against chips and coolant, which significantly extends the service life of the components.
Use
From contract manufacturing to custom machine building and tool and mold making—the KRONOS is designed to meet the most diverse industry requirements.
