ARION
Portal Milling Machines Without a Foundation
The ARION gantry milling machine combines the stability and high performance of a traditional gantry milling machine with a key advantage: It does not require a complex foundation and can be installed directly on the shop floor. This saves on investment costs and allows the machine to be easily relocated if necessary.

Design
Design
All structural components are made of vibration-damping cast metal with a heavily ribbed internal structure—designed using the finite element method to ensure maximum force dissipation across both machine stands.
Guideways
Two guideways for the cross slide, arranged at a 90° offset, create a system that combines the highest stability with maximum dynamics.
Milling Heads
Available with either mechanical milling heads for high torque or motor-spindle milling heads for speeds up to 18,000 min⁻¹—with optional simultaneous machining.
Free Installation
Can be set up directly on the hall floor thanks to steel plates—lower initial costs and easy relocation later on.
Custom
A wide range of options allows you to configure the ARION precisely to meet your specific machining requirements.
