Your Opportunity at ZAYER EMC
We are seeking an experienced executive for ZAYER EMC to establish and lead our service organization in Central Europe. Based at the Lontzen Technology Center near Aachen, you will build an efficient customer service operation for CNC machine tools—drawing on your technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and clear customer focus.
Your Responsibilities
Establishing and managing the service organization in Central Europe; developing the team and service partners
Planning and coordinating commissioning, maintenance, repairs, and technical customer service calls
Responsibility for technical escalation in the event of complex malfunctions; ensuring sustained machine availability
Development of maintenance, spare parts, and retrofit concepts, as well as customer-oriented service offerings
Responsibility for service quality, scheduling, costs, and key performance indicators; further development of processes
Close collaboration with customers, the sales department, the technology center, and ZAYER’s main plant in Spain
What You Need to Bring
A technical degree or continuing education leading to certification as a technician or master craftsman; alternatively, a comparable qualification with substantial professional experience
Several years of management experience in service, maintenance, or the technical operation of CNC machine tools
In-depth knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and CNC controls; experience with large milling and machining centers
Experience in building teams and processes, as well as in resource planning, cost control, and employee development
Entrepreneurial mindset, strong customer focus, and the ability to handle technical escalations with confidence
Excellent German and good English skills; French or Spanish is a plus
Willingness to travel within Central Europe and to collaborate with the main plant in Spain
